Last week I finished my beanie project for Monique ... I completed 80 beanies. They were all knitted in wacky colors, but will keep little heads warm.
Using a tin of Chakalaka ... muffins!
Chakalaka muffins

410g tin chakalaka (mild / hot), drained, throw liquid away
1 cup self-rising flour
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup milk
2 tsp mustard powder
Salt, pepper
Grated cheese
Salt, pepper
Grated cheese
Preheat oven to 200 oC. Prepare muffin pan. Mix the chakalaka with egg, milk, salt, pepper and mustard powder. Stir in self-rising flour. Spoon into muffin pan. Sprinkle little bit grated cheese on top. Bake for 20 min. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes.

These muffins will be perfect as a side dish to a braai.I am really wondering today what's in plan for us ... both Hein and myself are extremely talented people ... yet somehow we really struggle to find a work ...
