Peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies - gluten free

PEANUT BUTTER and CHOC CHIP COOKIES

About 24 cookies, depending on size

 

1 cup peanut butter                                       

100 g chocolate chips

1 large egg                                                           

1/2 cup white sugar*

Preheat oven to 170 oC.  Mix the ingredients together, roll in small BITES and place on greased baking sheet.  Press down with fork. Bake for 12 minutes.  Remove from oven - let cool for 12 minutes on tray, remove and let it cool down completely on wire rack. (It hardens as it cools.)

Note:  Smooth or crunchy peanut butter is fine.  If you use no added sugar and salt peanut butter, use ½ cup sugar.  If using the normal peanut butter, use only ¼ cup sugar.
