Today I am thankful for Eskort Rib Burger patties ...
You will think we're mad! So we thought about having homemade spare rib pizza .. and not wanting to grill the Eskort rib burger patties in the kitchen, Hein lit the tiny braai ... and braaied them!!!!
I then cubed them, put them on top of our pizza crust ... sprinkled with cheese and raw onion and baked it. Delicious for our brunch!
Thinking about dinner, we had a piece of Pick 'n Pay 'Sosatie Boerewors" in the fridge. It tastes JUST like Bobotie! Even has raisins in. The 1st time we braaied this wors, I cut it and thought ... what are these black things??? Raisins!
So last
night, I removed the sausage casing, loosen the boerewors mixture with a fork
in a baking dish, topped with egg-milk mixture, stuck 3 bay leaves in and
baked. Yummy! Dinner sorted!
