Hi all my wonderful XCentric friends and family!!!

Yes, I missed you all soooo much!!!!  Wondered why so quiet?  I did a 6 week temp contract at Hansgrohe Showroom, Kramerville (http://www.hansgrohe.co.za/) and what an adventure it was!!!

I sat in the showroom, greeted all the walk-in clients and answered the phone.  These are just 2 pictures of some of the products on the floor – they are very upmarket and stunning in design!  Hansgrohe is of course a German company and have received numerous design awards!   The tap mixer is a Philippe Starck design - sleek, modern and fun.  

There is one shower head (not shown here) – 1 m x 1 m – the whole thing is a shower and cost about R75 000 – without the necessary parts, which will be another R25 000.  And ‘throws’ out 54 liters water PER MINUTE!

The people were all very friendly (once again, quite a few Afrikaans people)!  There are 2 espresso machines in the office that we could use – what a fabulous perk!!  It makes Americano, Cappuccino and Latte.  I limited myself to 2 cups a day.   It wasn’t very busy, but I’ve learned sooo much about shower water / minute and if you mix the showerhead with air its stronger, etc. etc.

But the traffic, oh dear, the traffic!  It took me just over an over – and our house is 20 kms from work.  Crazy!!!!!  But I’ve decided to just chill and listen to good music on my IPod, opened the window, inhaled the fresh – almost Spring weather and watched all the houses and gardens.
